These candidates were given the chance to immerse themselves in a multitude of scenarios that mirror the complexities they might face in the real world. Our training aimed to equip them with the skills required to expedite the safety and security of their clients, staff, and families. One of the standout components of the program was a 12-hour practical exercise. Participants practiced detail movements crucial for ensuring the safe transition of a principal. These movements covered various scenarios, from the delicate operation of transferring the principal from an airplane to a vehicle, then from the vehicle to a venue, and navigating them safely through bustling public areas, especially during events with music and alcohol sales. The training also delved into managing vehicle operations amidst congested vehicular and pedestrian traffic. We believe that real-life experiences, coupled with the best practices derived from them, form the bedrock of effective training. EPIC Services & Consulting, LLC, will be offering a 46 hour CPP class during the week of May 22-26, 2023 and continuing throughout 2023 with designated dates.
Course Details The class will be held at the Gaston College (Lincolnton Campus) starting on Monday 5/22/2023 and continuing through Friday 5/26/2023. If you need lodging during your stay we are attempting to get a special rate for your stay and lunch will be provided each day. The Class will be limited to 14 participants and will require a minimum of at least 10 participants to be held. About the CPP Course The 46-hour CPP course covers a wide range of topics, including fundamentals of personal protection (Mission Planning), performing site surveys, route selection, medical evacuation, formations, communication concepts and transitional movements. Additionally, you will be required to complete an advance directive and practical exercise over the course of a 12-14 hour day. You will receive certifications in CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed, Bloodborne Pathogens and OSHA 30. The course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of security professionals, and it is a rigorous and demanding program that requires dedication, discipline, and hard work. Annual trade in fake products was worth $461 billion in 2013, around 2.5 per cent of total global trade, according to Piotr Stryszowski, an economist with the Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The money goes to organized crime, and helps fund terrorism and the trafficking of drugs, people, sex and wildlife, as well as the lavish lifestyles of its kingpins. Consumers may see fakes as “fun” and feel clever to buy sunglasses or sneakers that look like the real thing but cost a fraction of the price. EPIC Services & Consulting, LLC assists multiple law enforcement agencies on a matter resulting in the recovery of $ 100,000 in counterfeit product. The investigation began in 2017 and continued until June 2019 upon the execution of a search warrant. The suspected organization was showing evidence of money laundering in various structured forms as well as association with a known terrorist organization in the area. Multiple items were recovered during the SW execution including but not limited to weapons, controlled substance, US currency & counterfeit goods from multiple brands. One arrest was made on the day of the operation and indictments are pending on other individuals. Epic worked alongside the US Marshal Service, ATF, MCDTF, TBI, and Tennessee Highway Patrol ultimately recovering over $100,000 of counterfeit product. |
